TOKYO MASK FESTIVAL brings together people who make masks and people who want them. Over the years we have learned exactly what needs fixing: the venue size, the flow of the crowd, how exhibitor fees work.
So we are rebuilding it. A larger venue, an independent fitting area, and a place where artists can sell masks fitted to your face, in person. A mask sits closer to you than clothing does — fitting is the heart of this festival.
Funds go to the venue, fixtures, and publicity. Rewards range from admission tickets to private sessions with artists.
If the goal isn't reached, nobody is charged, and we consider running it at the usual scale.
